The “medium” and “long” partitions are back online, and you can submit jobs onto them. Unfortunately, a problem was detected on compute node cn014 and we’ve removed it from the queue until the situation is resolved.
We have disabled the “medium” and “long” SLURM partitions, meaning that submitting jobs on those partitions is temporarily unavailable. We have done this due to the fact that tomorrow, 09.08.2018, the water supply to Sofia TechPark will be cut because of repairs. This might interfere with the air conditioning in the server room, so we have taken steps to mitigate the possible effects of overheating. The partitions will be available again at 9 pm tomorrow.
An interview by prof. Proykova was published on the Karoll knowledge website, talking about science and entrepreneurship. You can check out the whole text here.
The slides from prof. Proykova’s talk, titled “High-performance computing (HPC)”, given during the Big Date Summer School(Bankya, 2018), are now available for download as a pdf file via this link.
An article was published in the newspaper “Capital“, regarding the state of high performance computing in Bulgaria. Nestum and the laboratory are featured in the text, which you can find here (in Bulgarian).
